White Wine Condrieu E.Guigal

Domaine Guigal was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small, ancient village and the birthplace of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. It boasts a unique vineyard where vines and wine have been celebrated for 2,400 years. Arriving in 1924 at the age of 14, the founder vinified 67 vintages. In 1961, at a very young age, Marcel Guigal took over the management of the estate alongside his father. He was joined in 1973 by his wife, Bernadette, and together they worked to develop the family business. 1975 marked the birth of their son, Philippe, who is now the estate's director and winemaker. Accompanied by his wife, Eve, he represents the third generation and continues the family legacy, dedicated to the great wines of the Rhône Valley. Domaine Guigal currently owns 75 hectares of very steep, terraced vineyards in Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Crozes-Hermitage.
