The vineyard now covers almost 50 hectares, 15 of which are dedicated to the Claymore cuvée. Claymore refers to the great sword of the Scottish Highlanders, warriors of Celtic origin whose presence in Aquitaine during the Hundred Years' War is believed to have been a significant factor.
