Tasting Notes
Aromas
A fragrant bouquet of zesty lemon peel, white flowers (acacia and hawthorn) and subtle flinty notes. The nose is both expressive and precise, inviting you to explore each layer of aroma.
Palate
Crisp and vibrant on the palate, with bright acidity balanced by a mineral backbone. Flavors of green apple, lemongrass and freshly cut herbs unfold gradually, culminating in a long, refreshing finish with saline undertones.
Winemaking
Grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed. After cold settling, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the wine’s freshness and aromatic purity. A short aging period on fine lees adds subtle texture and complexity.
Region & Terroir
Quincy, situated on the right bank of the Loire River, boasts sandy gravel soils over flint and siliceous subsoil. This unique combination yields wines of remarkable finesse, vibrant minerality and distinct aromatic intensity.
Food Pairing
This Quincy AOP excels alongside seafood (oysters, grilled prawns), goat cheese (Crottin de Chavignol) and light salads. Its refreshing acidity also makes it an excellent aperitif for warm summer days.
