Miraval Rosé

Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur - Côtes de Provence AOP

Vineyard
This rosé is the flagship vintage of the Miraval estate, owned by the ex-couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. It is vinified by the famous Perrin family of the Rhône valley and comes from the best vines of the estate as well as a selection of vineyards in the best terroirs of Provence. The terroir is composed of clay-limestone soil, arranged in terraces at an average altitude of 350m. The cool climate for the region and the temperature variations between day and night allow perfect balances to be maintained in the wines.

Winemaking
The grapes are harvested in the morning, then sorted and destemmed. Direct pressing for Cinsault, Grenache and Rolle. Syrah is vinified by bleeding. Vinification takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel vats for 95% and in barrels with stirring for 5%.

Tasting
Pretty petal pink color with brilliant reflections. It instantly evokes Provence with its beautiful aromas of fresh fruit and spring flowers. Airy, balanced, it subtly combines great freshness and beautiful complexity with saline and mineral notes. Its finish, long and intense, is the signature of this rosé with incomparable elegance.

Service advice

Serve it at 8-10°C as an aperitif, with tomatoes-mozzarella, cold meats, fish, red or white meats. Also ideal with cheese and fruity or chocolate desserts.
