This estate has belonged to the Robin family since 1660. It covers 6.5 hectares on terraces overlooking the Gironde estuary at an altitude of 75 meters. The vineyard is cultivated using sustainable farming practices, without chemical herbicides, but with tilling.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested. Long maceration (approximately 30 days) in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats. Aged for one-third in barrels and two-thirds in vats.
Grape Varieties: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec
Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting Notes
This wine has a cherry color and a silky nose of red fruit. It is round, full, and velvety, with well-integrated tannins. It reveals a supple and harmonious attack, with a beautiful length on the finish.
Serving suggestion
Serve it at around 15-16°C with a rib of beef with bone marrow, an entrecôte, a roast venison, a woodcock sautéed with truffles or a duck confit.
