Vineyard
It was in 1967 that Maurice Fillatreau transferred the 8 hectares of his farm to his son Paul. A lover of these light wines with aromas of red fruits, Paul Filliatreau devotes himself to their development and promotion. In 1990, Fredrik joined his father at the head of the operation. Through method and perseverance, they now operate an estate of more than 40 hectares. This vintage comes from a selection of plots located on the best terroirs of the appellation on clay-limestone terroir.
Winemaking
The harvest is entirely sorted in the cellar. The grapes are destemmed and placed in stainless steel vats. Maceration lasts around 10 days, between 22 and 25°C, to preserve the fruit as much as possible.
Tasting
The wine is supple and delicious. Its nose reveals aromas of raspberry and peony. It is well constructed, with lovely silky tannins.
