Alphonse Mellot father and son (respectively 18th and 19th of the name) sign among the most beautiful wines of the Sancerre appellation in biodynamics. The estate extends over 50 ha, 35 ha of Sauvignon and 15 ha of Pinot Noir. This cuvée comes from vines that have grown on limestone soils of Kimmeridgian marl called Saint Doulchard over 3 hectares. This wine offers notes of red fruits such as kirsch and raspberry. On the palate, we find the cherry with a beautiful substance, both structured and fleshy until a very fruity finish. Grape: Pinot Noir Taste and flavor: Light and fruity Alcohol content: 14.5° Serve it with a plate of Serano ham or Pata Negra, an osso bucco or a beef bourguignon.
