One of the many properties of Bernard Magrez, famous owner of Pape Clément, acquired in 1998. Established on a ridge of gravel overlooking the estuary, this vast cru (72 ha), which shelters the remains of an ancient fortress from the 16th century ., shows great regularity.
The bouquet classically combines red fruits with toast and vanilla from the barrel. The palate, persistent and well extracted, offers a successful alliance between the tannins of the wood and those of the grape, and ends with a pleasant liveliness. A still young wine with good potential
