About La Tour de Mon Père Vin Rouge
La Tour de Mon Père Vin Rouge is produced in the prestigious Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation, located on the right bank of the Loire River. Exclusively crafted from Cabernet Franc, this wine showcases the unique clay-tuffeau soils of the region, delivering both finesse and structure.
Terroir & Winemaking
Vineyard
The vineyards are planted on south-facing slopes of eroded limestone and clay, which ensure good drainage and optimal ripening. Vines average 25 years of age, yielding low quantities of highly concentrated fruit.
Vinification
After hand-harvest and a careful selection of grapes, a gentle cold maceration is followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged for 10–12 months in a combination of used oak barrels and concrete tanks to preserve freshness and impart subtle complexity.
Tasting Profile

Nose
Aromas of red currant, raspberry, black cherry and gentle floral notes, with an undercurrent of pencil lead and wet stone minerality.
