Region & Terroir
Les Pas Perdus Brouilly AOP hails from the highest slopes of the Brouilly cru in southern Beaujolais. The vines thrive on decomposed pink granite soils, imparting minerality and elegance to the wine. Cooler nights and gentle elevations preserve the freshness and aromatic intensity of the Gamay grape.
Grape Variety
100% Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc, hand-harvested from 30- to 60-year-old vines. The low-yielding vineyard ensures concentrated flavors and refined tannins.
Vinification & Aging
After a cold soak to enhance color extraction, the must ferments with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Gentle pumping-over and daily punch-downs refine the silky tannin structure. Aged for 6–8 months on fine lees, the wine gains extra depth and mouthfeel without oak influence.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Bright ruby red. Aroma: Bursting with wild strawberry, black cherry, violet and a hint of white pepper. Palate: Juicy red fruit, crisp acidity and polished tannins leading to a fresh, lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Perfect with charcuterie, terrines, roast chicken, grilled salmon or creamy goat cheese. Also an excellent companion to autumn stews and mushroom risotto.
