Origin and Terroir
Nestled at the heart of the Brouilly appellation, Château des Tours stands on ancient granite soils that give this wine its distinctive minerality. The Lieu-Dit Les Tours vineyard benefits from optimal sun exposure and a cool diurnal range, ensuring perfect grape maturation.
Vinification et Élevage
Harvested by hand, the Gamay grapes undergo a gentle carbonic maceration to preserve their fresh fruit character. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by an aging period in neutral oak barrels to refine the wine’s texture without overpowering its delicate aromas.
Tasting Profile
On the nose, expect bright aromas of cherry, raspberry, and violet, complemented by subtle hints of spice and earth. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, offering red fruit flavors, a touch of minerality, and a smooth, lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Château des Tours Brouilly pairs exquisitely with charcuterie boards, roasted chicken, grilled salmon, and a variety of soft cheeses. It also makes an exceptional companion to vegetarian dishes like mushroom risotto and ratatouille.
