Romain Desbastides Rosé Côtes de Provence
Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur - Côtes de Provence AOP
The Master Vignerons of the Presqu'ile de Saint-Tropez have been established since 1964. This group was born from the initiative of eight winegrowers wishing to create a collective marketing site and to promote their wines. The entity brings together 10 estates and 3 large cellars on the most beautiful terroirs of Provence. It is the leading producer of Côtes de Provence. For more than 50 years, their vines have benefited from an exceptional location and the best sunshine in France. Surrounded by the sea, they extend from the hills of Gassin to the beaches of Ramatuelle.
The plots are checked once a week to harvest at perfect maturity. The harvest is done exclusively at night between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. to preserve the aromatic potential of the grapes. Direct pressing of the grapes away from oxygen is followed by fermentation at low temperatures and aging on fine lees to impart richness and complexity.
This rosé is pale, with a floral nose, with notes of small red fruits. The palate is fresh, tender, with citrus notes.
