La Tour de Mon Père Vin Rouge Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil

Discover the charm of the Loire Valley in every glass of La Tour de Mon Père. This Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil red is a textbook example of top-quality Cabernet Franc, combining bright red-berry fruit, a hint of crushed stone minerality and supple tannins.

Its inviting nose of blackcurrant, raspberry and wild herbs leads to a fresh, medium-bodied palate where fine acidity and a mineral backbone carry through to a smooth, lingering finish. Ideal now with roast chicken, charcuterie or goat’s cheese, it will also age gracefully for 3–5 years.

About La Tour de Mon Père Vin Rouge

La Tour de Mon Père Vin Rouge is produced in the prestigious Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation, located on the right bank of the Loire River. Exclusively crafted from Cabernet Franc, this wine showcases the unique clay-tuffeau soils of the region, delivering both finesse and structure.

Terroir & Winemaking

Vineyard

The vineyards are planted on south-facing slopes of eroded limestone and clay, which ensure good drainage and optimal ripening. Vines average 25 years of age, yielding low quantities of highly concentrated fruit.

Vinification

After hand-harvest and a careful selection of grapes, a gentle cold maceration is followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged for 10–12 months in a combination of used oak barrels and concrete tanks to preserve freshness and impart subtle complexity.
