GRANDS CRUS DE MARGAUX: Miejscowość Margaux jest znana na całym świecie dzięki słynnemu zamekowi premier cru o tej samej nazwie. Apelacja Margaux ma tę zaletę, że reprezentuje najbardziej imponującą listę sklasyfikowanych wzrostów w 1855 roku: 22 z 70 nieruchomości. Wina z tej apelacji mają wspólne cechy: są bardziej przyjazne i mniej surowe niż wina z Pauillac, ale równie dobrze nadają się do długiego leżakowania.
