Vineyard
The Domaine des Ballandors was founded in the 1960s. It extends over three plots for a total of 7 ha, located on a terroir of sandy gravel and clayey gravel on lake limestone. Chantal Wilk and Jean Tatin, a couple of agricultural engineers, have an absolute and ambitious vision for their appellation which they want to free from Sancerre. The vineyard is managed using sustainable cultivation: natural grass cover, destruction of plant cover in spring, tillage.

Winemaking
Pressing the grapes. Fermentations are deliberately slow in order to let the fruit express itself. The wine is then aged on fine lees with regular stirring.

Tasting
The nose reveals notes of grapefruit and white flowers. Its mouth is fresh, with notes of ripe citrus and menthol, and its finish reveals a beautiful minerality.

Service advice
