Overview

Château Victoria Haut-Médoc Bordeaux is a benchmark for quality and consistency in the Haut-Médoc appellation. Made from select parcels on gravelly soils, this Cru Bourgeois offers a harmonious balance of fruit intensity, fine-grained tannins and subtle oak influence.

Terroir and Vinification

Terroir

The estate’s vineyards are planted on deep gravel terraces over clay-limestone subsoils. These well-drained, mineral-rich plots surrounding the Gironde estuary provide ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, ensuring optimal ripening and aromatic expression.

Vinification

After hand-harvesting, each grape variety is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrel, followed by 12–14 months of aging in French oak (30% new), which adds complexity without overpowering the wine’s fruit core.

Tasting Notes

Color: Deep ruby red with purple highlights.
Nose: Ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedar and a hint of graphite.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied, with supple tannins, juicy plum flavors, earthy undertones and a lingering, elegant finish.

Food Pairing

This Haut-Médoc shines alongside grilled ribeye, beef stew, roasted lamb and aged cheeses such as Comté or Gouda. Its structure and acidity also complement mushroom risotto and charcuterie boards.

Winemaking Heritage

Château Victoria has been stewarded by passionate vignerons dedicated to sustainable practices and traditional craftsmanship. The estate’s commitment to low yields and meticulous vineyard management ensures each vintage reflects the unique character of the Haut-Médoc terroir.
