Château de Corcelles Brouilly Beaujolais

Château de Corcelles Brouilly Beaujolais is a vibrant, fruit-driven red wine from the celebrated Brouilly appellation in Beaujolais. Crafted from 100% Gamay grapes grown in ancient granite soils on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, this cuvée captures the essence of its unique terroir and the rich winemaking heritage of the Corcelles estate.

Winemaking & Terroir

Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and undergo semi-carbonic maceration to emphasize fresh red-berry aromas and silky tannins. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 8–10 months in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, preserving its pure fruit character and bright acidity while maintaining a mineral backbone.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, delicate aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, and violet mingle with subtle hints of white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, offering flavors of red currant, cranberry, and a light crushed-stone minerality, culminating in a long, refreshing finish.

Food Pairing

This Brouilly is a versatile companion to charcuterie platters, roast chicken, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, and soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert. Serve lightly chilled at 14–16°C to highlight its juicy fruit profile and lively finish.
