Note:  92/100 James Suckling.

Located in the commune of Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens, the vineyard is planted on ancient sandy soils intersected by veins of gravel in the subsoil, south of the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau. The vines, averaging 35 years old, are cultivated using sustainable practices, including tilling and cover cropping, but without the use of any herbicides.

Grape Varieties: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc
Taste: Powerful and structured
Alcohol: 13.5%

Tasting Notes: The nose is powerful and expressive, developing notes of black fruit mingled with hints of sweet spices and a touch of licorice. The palate is dense and velvety.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with white meat, duck confit, or fish in a spicy sauce.
