Château Le Jard Chatain Lalande de Pomerol

The Château's vineyard covers 5.5 hectares, situated in a single block in the heart of the village. As in Pomerol, the soils are covered with alluvial gravel and rest on a vein of ferruginous elements mixed with heavy clay. The clay soils impart a distinctive character and give this cuvée power, while the gravel soils contribute finesse. The winemaker's priority is to produce wines that are typical of their terroir, wines that are authentic.
