Winery & Terroir
Hans Schaeffer is a family estate located in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. Their vineyards are planted on well-drained granitic and schist soils, which impart distinctive minerality and precision to each bottle.
Grape Variety
100% Riesling, grown on steep slopes with exceptional sun exposure. The cool Alsace climate preserves vibrant acidity and allows the grapes to develop elegant aromatics.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested fruit is gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. No oak influence ensures the pure expression of the Riesling grape and its terroir.
