Domaine de Chênepierre Pur Granit is a flagship Cru from the Moulin-à-Vent appellation, situated on some of the oldest granite outcrops in southern Beaujolais. The estate practices sustainable viticulture, with hand-harvesting and rigorous sorting to ensure only the finest grapes enter fermentation. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged briefly in neutral oak, this cuvée emphasizes purity of fruit and the distinctive mineral backbone of granite soils. Tasting notes reveal aromas of wild red berries, crushed stone, violet and a hint of pepper. On the palate, the wine shows impeccable balance between ripe fruit, silky tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long, with echoes of graphite and licorice. Pur Granit pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, hearty stews, charcuterie boards and aged cheeses. Serve at 14–16 °C and enjoy within 3–8 years, although the wine’s structure supports extended cellaring up to 10–12 years.
