Family Legacy and Winemaking Excellence
Founded in 1950 by Willy Gisselbrecht, the Gisselbrecht family estate has been producing exceptional Crémant d’Alsace for over seven decades. Combining time-honored traditions with modern techniques, each bottle reflects our commitment to quality at every step.
Terroir of Alsace
Nestled in northeastern France, the Alsace region offers a unique microclimate and diverse soils ranging from granite to limestone. These conditions impart distinctive mineral notes and balanced acidity to our wines, making them stand out in the world of sparkling wines.
Tasting Notes
Appearance
Brilliant pale gold with a persistent, fine mousse that gracefully rises to the surface.
Aroma
Delicate bouquet of green apple, white peach, and citrus blossom, intertwined with subtle brioche and almond nuances from extended aging.
Palate
Vibrant acidity leads to a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, followed by flavors of ripe pear, lemon zest, and a hint of toasted bread. The clean, elegant finish makes it ideal for a wide range of pairings.
Food Pairing
This Brut Crémant d’Alsace complements oysters, smoked salmon, soft cheeses like Brie, and light poultry dishes. It also excels as an aperitif or a celebratory toast.
Winemaking Process
Harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing and primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks. A second fermentation in bottle follows the traditional method, with at least 12 months aging on the lees to develop complexity and fine bubbles.
