This cuvée is the second wine of Château Haut-Chaigneau. It covers 20 hectares of vines. These wines have an aging potential of around 5-10 years. This wine offers a beautiful garnet color. Its nose evokes red and black fruits. On the palate, the attack is full and soft, with remarkable freshness. It develops harmoniously with a balanced finish thanks to discreet aging in wood. Grapes: 55% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Franc Taste and flavor: Supple and velvety Alcohol content: 13.5° Serve it at 18°C with roasted or braised red meats, or fish. |
