Origin & Terroir
Historic Vineyard
Nestled in the heart of Beaujolais, the Château de Corcelles estate benefits from centuries of winemaking tradition. Its south-facing slopes capture optimal sunlight, ensuring perfect grape ripeness.
Soil Composition
The unique blend of granite and clay soils imparts minerality and depth to the Chardonnay grapes, allowing for a distinct expression of the region’s terroir.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
Delicate notes of lemon blossom, white peach, and green apple combine with a subtle hint of vanilla and toasted almonds.
Palate
The palate is vibrant and well balanced, offering flavors of citrus, orchard fruits, and a touch of brioche. A refreshing acidity and a long, silky finish make this wine irresistible.
Winemaking Process
Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal maturity, then gently pressed to preserve aromatics. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in French oak barrels for added complexity.
Food Pairing & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with grilled sea bass, creamy chicken dishes, fresh salads, and soft cheeses. Serve chilled at 10-12 °C to fully appreciate its aromatic profile.
Sustainable Practices
The vineyard follows sustainable viticulture methods to protect the environment and promote biodiversity, ensuring each bottle reflects both quality and eco-responsibility.
