Buena Vista |
California's first premium vineyard, Buena Vista owes its founding to Count Agoston Haraszthy, father of modern California viticulture in the 19th century. Paying homage to him, this dark-hued cuvée offers an intense palate dominated by flavors of chocolate, coconut, strawberry jam and pastry. With a pretty purple color, this wine offers a nose of black fruits and spices. On the palate, it has a good length, aromas of blueberry, black pepper, violet and blackberry. Varietal: Petite Syrah Taste and flavor: Powerful and full-bodied Alcohol content: 13.5° Ideal with grilled meats, veal kidneys, rack of lamb from Quebec with cocoa sauce, beef skewers with pink pepper and cherry tomatoes, beef bourguignon, rack of lamb in a spice crust, yogurt with mint and chives... or chocolate desserts. |
