Red wines from the Côtes de Bourg are generous, structured, rounded, and warm. They are distinguished by intense aromas of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), spicy notes, and, at times, floral hints of violet. Thanks to their velvety tannins, they can be enjoyed while young or after aging for 5 to 10 years.
The Côtes de Bourg AOC is one of the oldest appellations in Bordeaux. It stretches along the right bank of the Gironde estuary, directly opposite the Médoc.
