Montecampo – Amarone della Valpolicella. Dieser hervorragende Wein besticht durch seine granatrote Farbe und Aromen von dunklen Früchten, Waldbeeren, kandierten Früchten und Gewürzen. Majestätisch, vollmundig und samtig mit einem sehr langen Abgang.

Das Weingut Zonin wurde 1821 von Giobata Zonin im kleinen Dorf Gambellara in Venetien gegründet und wird fast zwei Jahrhunderte später immer noch von seiner Familie geführt. Sein Nachkomme, Gianni Zonin, bewirtschaftet heute über 2.000 Hektar auf elf Weingütern, die alle nachhaltige Landwirtschaft betreiben. Zusätzlich handelt das Weingut mit Trauben und Weinen.

Weinherstellung
Die Trauben werden vollreif geerntet und 120 Tage lang in belüfteten Räumen getrocknet. Anschließend mazerieren die gequetschten Trauben sieben bis acht Tage. Die Gärung verläuft langsam und dauert vier bis sechs Wochen. Die Weine reifen dann zwei Jahre in 30-Hektoliter-Fässern aus slowenischer Eiche und anschließend sechs Monate in der Flasche, bevor sie in den Verkauf gelangen.
