History of Ca’Marcanda

Vineyard & Winemaking

Grapes for the 2020 vintage are sourced from hillside plots with well-draining sandy-clay soils. After hand harvesting, the fruit undergoes cold maceration followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine matures for 6–8 months in concrete and stainless steel to preserve freshness and vibrant fruit character.

The 2020 Promis Ca’Marcanda pours a bright ruby red. The nose bursts with wild cherry, raspberry and cranberry, accented by violet, lavender and a hint of Mediterranean herbs.
