Overview
Château le Bourdieu Vertheuil Haut-Médoc Bordeaux hails from the prestigious Haut-Médoc appellation on the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The estate’s gravelly soils and maritime climate create ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot vines.
Vineyard & Vinification
The vineyard covers approximately 25 hectares of well-drained gravel and clay-limestone terraces. Grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, and gently destemmed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats followed by 12 to 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, 30% of which are renewed each year.
