chateau de Rouillac |
The Château de Rouillac was in the 19th century a delicious wine which Napoleon III loved! He belonged then to Baron Haussmann, a great builder and horse man who built the magnificent Carthusian monastery and its beautiful stables. Laurent Cisneros and his family, owners since 2010, have undertaken important works and found the soul of this superb estate, giving back all the expression to its exceptional soil of Graves. In order to respect this unique environment, this wine is designed according to a reasoned agriculture. A wine that is more marked by the sauvignon. The nose is fruity (especially on citrus fruits, lemon), flowery, slightly woody and evokes typical notes of sauvignon (eucalyptus, linden). The palate is fresh, mineral, round, dynamic, slightly woody and expresses notes of citrus (lemon) and slightly of white fruits. Precision and elegance in the fruit. Pretty length and persistence in the end of the mouth. |
