Introduction to Château de Raousset – Chiroubles
Perched on the granite slopes of Chiroubles, Château de Raousset benefits from an exceptional terroir. The vines, averaging 40 to 60 years of age, are cultivated using sustainable farming methods (*lutte raisonnée*) to respect the vine's natural balance and the cru's distinctive character.
Terroir & Winemaking
The granite soil imparts finesse and minerality to the wine. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks allows for measured tannin extraction while preserving the aromatic freshness of the Gamay grape. Aging for 6 to 8 months in tanks preserves the pure expression of the fruit.
