Côte Rôtie Pierre Gaillard |
Located on the south / south-west facing slopes of Ampuis, the vines are planted on soils of different types. The Côte Brune type plots, composed of brown shales rich in iron oxide, give full-bodied wines. Côte Blonde plots are made up of shales rich in silt and loess and produce more supple and more aromatic wines. Fruity, fleshy and fine. It expresses the diversity of all the terroirs of the estate of which it is the blend. |
