Listed in 1855, Grand-Puy-Lacoste occupied from the beginning of the 16th century century a very fine place in the history of the Grands Crus of Bordeaux. He then belonged to a family of parliamentarians who passionate about this magnificent gravelly terroir, highlights it and established its reputation. François-Xavier Borie, his current owner, is the man of the revival of this superb domain. He undertakes major investments in order to constantly improve the quality of the château's wines, which marvelously express the
richness of this great terroir of Pauillac.

Manual harvest, double sorting on the table. Fermentation of around 3 weeks 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels
The blend of Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2017 is once again a
ample room for Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) demonstrating, if necessary, the potential of its terroir to express all the characters and charm great cabernets. This wine has a beautiful red color brilliant and deep ruby. The bouquet reveals aromas of fruit ripe reds, violets and spices. The set is complete with a nice mineral freshness. In the mouth, the attack is precise, straight and lingers on ripe and melted tannins. The whole offers a a very well-balanced wine combining charm, elegance and freshness, with a long, very pure and very aromatic finish.
