  • Description
The Château owes part of its name to one of its first owners, Jacques de Bergeron, famous 17th century agronomist century. Considered one of the main Crus Bourgeois in 19th century, Château Lamothe Bergeron has always been a reference of the Haut-Médoc appellation. Nestled between the terroirs of Margaux and Saint-Julien, Lamothe Bergeron is part of the circle closed castles "which look at the river", in other words those which occupy the best gravel left by the Gironde estuary.
