Château Pouget 2010: |
Château Pouget takes its name with the arrival of François-Antoine Pouget at the head of the vintage in 1748. The Maréchal-duc de Richelieu, very attached to wine, will give him the coat of arms that still sits on the label. But Château Pouget truly enters the history of the great Bordeaux in 1855 with the accession to the rank of fourth Grand Cru Classé. Marshal-Duke of Richelieu is behind the coat of arms and the motto of Château Pouget. "The love on your heart will expand its power. Your verb will be clear like the song of the Rooster. Like a Lion, you won't fear shock. If this nectar you fill your stomach. " Since 1906, the estate has been in the hands of the Guillemet family. As an experienced technical director, Lucien Guillemet ensures that his wine expresses the beauty of these gravelly soils that make the whole world dream. With him, Château Pouget is managed with conviction and subtlety.
All of Margaux's excellence lies in this 2010 vintage: an amazing blend of depth and finesse, marked by a subtle roasting nose. A real delight of red and black fruits, offering it a ripe purple color, the ripe Cabernet Sauvignon gives this wine all the richness, breadth and delicacy of a magnificent Cru, in an exceptional vintage.
